Michal Turek
Born in the Czech Republic, Michal started diving in 1996. In 1998 he moved to the USA and in 2001 became Open Water Instructor in Destin Florida. Michal's passion for technical and cave diving lead him to Edd Sorenson and Cave Adventurers, Marianna Florida, to teach the art of safe cave and technical diving. In free time Michal likes to explore the caves and wrecks of the North West Florida Panhandle.
Michal's Story

By focusing on precision buoyancy, rigorous stress-testing, and cognitive awareness, I ensure my students transition from the classroom to the cave environment armed with the technical skills and psychological confidence required to navigate the world’s most demanding overhead environments."
